I'm not going to reward parents for taking children out of the public system we're trying to make better.

If you want to privately educate, or home-school your children, that's your responsibility.

I did think long and hard about this one, but came to the final conclusion of a) it might be the role of the Government to provide parents with options in education, but not to pay for an option to undermine the public system b) the Bill refers to 'private institutions' as receiving no government funding... but says nothing about accreditation or the role if regional governments.

I would see this Bill as both overreach and undermining our public system.
