Oh well, you just see that Sanders and his goons start purging his fellow members for the sake of "ideological purity". this is one of the causes of the increasing polarization of the US political system; debate within the system is particularly shrouded for keeping the in-group pleased and resuming the fact that the people that don't really "fit-in" shall be purged.

We no longer debate with reason that the enlightenment thought it would bring us.I think that I would blame the US media for bringing this causality to the american political landscape. The fact that the US media is a business and not a public broadcasting station (which a majority is not), they strive for viewership and private money. American media companies have to run there news with advertisements(this in turn, makes it free for american viewers without paying any tax dollars to watch television).

The media wouldn't ever support a democratic socialist (because the fact that the funding comes from corporations, but the voters might). the entire cleansing process provides me with the example that these people won't really represent the entire view of the democratic socialist movement that is taken hold in the US political system. this movement isn't going to succeed if it has factions  help to pull the democratic process within the movement. the disregard for any democratic thought within the movement might as well tear it to shreds and american voters won't support a democratic socialist movement so passionately.
