I think Obama will do better than expected among whites tonight.
I hope so...

I am very impressed by Obama, especially with the white vote, 25% is a very respectable showing amoung three candidates.

Just to depress myself...

% Blacks voting for the black* candidate: 80
% Whites voting for the white candidates: 76

Admittedly there's not much to choose betwixed the candidates other than that... but... still... Sad

*Well, more or less.
Except many of the Edwards voters could simply be anti-Clinton voters who would have voted for Obama if Edwards was not an option. I would still Clinton to win the white vote in that case but it isn't like a significant portion would not go to Obama.

Michigan:

Hillary Clinton: 55.2% (327,524 out of 592,972)

South Carolina:

Barack Obama: 55.4% (295,214 out of 532,468)

Unbelievable...

Wow, he did better than Clinton when she was going against "Uncommitted"
