Yeah.  One time when I went away for a few weeks opebo made a poll "where's angus?"

I forget the options, but there were such choices as "untimely demise" and "fled to avoid the IRS"

That was in the old days, though.  The most recent times I've gone away for a week or more no one made any polls.  I've never announced my departures with a thread the way many posters do, and the forum has grown fat with posters so I don't think I'd be missed by anyone these days.

A week isn't really a long time to be absent, even though some in Hudson NY feel it's long enough to put up an attention whore thread.

That's exactly who I had in mind when I said that I don't make threads about it like some posters do.
