Okay, then.  yeah, they're mostly leftist propaganda.

but as long as we're at it:  Of course cities rule over the countryside.  At least in a democracy.  See, if you have a million people in a state, and 700 thousand of them live in the capital, and 300 thousand are distributed over the rolling hills and valleys and forests, then votes that are in the nature of public-services expenditures VS. low taxes will always be around 70/30 in favor of the services.  Right? 

And that's not tyranny, is it?  That's just majority rule.

Everyone is entitled to a certain amount of local government. I think it's outragous that the income tax is imposed on us by people who don't even own property!

take a look at your map.  Note, in particular the deepest reds are in the lower Mississippi River valley and the Rio Grande valley and in  the reservations of the four-courners area.  Those folks ain't got a pot to piss in.  Seriously, they're not tyrannical over you, man.  And anyway, they lost, so let's stop bickering.
