Joe Biden volunteerily resigns from VP or dies perhaps and Obama picks Evan Bayh or Mark Warner to beat Mitt Romney in the general and still wins holding his own in the states he won last time, but losing a few and picking up possibly MO or AZ.

Obama has governed as a new democratic rather than a more secular one, but alot of his policies are very similar to a compassionate conservative agenda.  Such as tarp funding, universal health care that Brown himself voted for at the state level.  I think governing as a new democrat rather than a liberal is the way to get reelected and his polls will improve once health care reform passes in both chambers.
