Utah is Safe R anyways it's part of the Dakotas unlike other R leaning battleground like MO, TX, NC, SC and FL

Being in the minority and D's are about to win a Filibuster proof Trifecta is not gonna help RS in UT all we need is 5 seats in H and Gallego and Brown and one R leaning battleground MT, MO, TX, WV or FL that's 51/50 and outside of MT and WV they are blk Populated

He lost a landslide in 2012 to OBAMA and blocked Voting Rights, he didn't want to face a bruising primary

I feel like Brad Wilson is probably the frontrunner now, given he’s raised a lot of money and has local endorsements. Jason Chaffetz would also be a strong contender, if he runs. He’d probably take a lot of support from Trent Staggs.

Sean Reyes looked like a likely candidate at one point, but hasn’t made moves recently. So I think he declines to run (maybe he’s waiting to run for Governor instead?). But maybe an open seat changes things?

Who else may run, now that Romney is out?

I’m disappointed Romney isn’t running again, but not surprised. From a Democrats’ perspective, Romney is probably the best Senator we could’ve gotten from Utah. I unfortunately expect a MAGA type candidate to win now.

We are getting Alsobrooks, Gallego, Kunce maybe ALLRED in the S, more Ds and you are upset Romney is gone and don't forget he supported 20% Corporate taxes in 2012 and blocked Voting Rights with SINEMA

Biden is at 48/52 with those Approvals ALLRED can win

Obama ran ads on Romney Bain Capital that took employees 401 K like Enron

Dark Knight rises was about Bain deceiving people

Senator Romney is one of the few neoconservatives that I have respect for on a political level and you cannot deny that he is a man of integrity and principle. His decision to not run for re-election shows how far some in the GOP have strayed from the principles of republicanism, institutional trust, and reason. And his willingness to buck the party on key issues showed that he had strong political instincts in which he remained apologetic even when the fallout was fierce. I wish that he may continue to be active in politics as he is a sane voice in a time of insanity, although I wish him the best in his retirement.

Yeah he lost a landslide to Obama because his Bain Capital went bankrupt and took employees 401 K and blocked Voting Rights, he is okay, but he still lost a landslide to Obama, and UT is Mt  State not a swing state anyways, Prez Biden is easily gonna win 270 and win Reelection
