It's still gonna be very tough even if For the People's Act passed  in TX and FL, the SCOTUS can modify For the People's Act especially Gerrymandering districts and 2 Biden has allowed illegal immigrants in the country with Covid, D's can lose  up to 10 seats in FL and TX Federal Law Trump's state law but SCOTUS will have final word, just because Congress says Redistricting must be done by Computers, especially Gorsuch, Alito and Thomas are for Gerrymandering

Rs already are taking D's to Crt in IL Redistricting, you think they won't take For the People Act to SCOTUS, yes they will

I am being realistic Biden is sitting at 50(45% Approvals it was 51(46, even in a Neutral Environment in 2020 we lost seats in TX

Hopefully it happens with a ban on gerrymandering

Btw, can we modify the filibuster to cover immigration and minimum wage?

You know SCOTUS has the final word on any legislation, but we don't know what Roberts or ACB will do since it's Federal Legislation not state Legislation, Congress can Trump state law but not SCOTUS except for Constitutional Amendment and Crt packing

They don't have to but Rs will sue, be sure of that, they are taking D's in IL to Crt over IL Redistricting

House is Likely R and S is Likely D

I mean, what choice do they have? Manchin more than any Democratic senator is at the mercy of a very Republican legislature who will make sure it's impossible for him to get reelected.

How do you figure that? I've got news for you: for over 100 years, since the adoption of the Seventeenth Amendment, U.S. Senators have not had any reason at all to keep their state's legislature happy and contended. The only people in West Virginia Manchin has to worry about are the voters.

Duh, because Republicans all over the country are passing voter restriction bills targeted at reducing Democratic votes. West Virginia barely has the black voters who make the most inviting targets, but the WV legislature will still try to do what they can.

And yes, Manchin is very likely to lose in 2024 regardless. But the WV legislature will raise that chance from 90% to 100% if they're allowed to.

If Breyer retires in 2022 or 2024 while D's hold the Senate it will boost D's chances, that's why Klobuchar is telling Breyer to retire now

But, yes, we are back in a polarized Environment because Biden when he gave those Stimulus checks and vaccines out said that Covid will end, it's a broken promise that Covid is the same as it is now with inflated gas prices

What did Harris say what is the WH to do with Covid victims and illegal immigrants not legal immigrants entered the country since Biden stopped building wall, get the vaccine

Guess what, people are still in debt and no new stimulus checks and Covid is still here

As I said before the SCOTUS will have the final word on this, due to fact Rs are taking D's to Crt for Redistricting in IL

It's funny that users think just because Congress passes a law except for Crt packing and Constitutional Amendment, it doesn't have to clear a Crt challenge, yes it does, it's called Judicial Review, which struck down Jim Crow and Slavery Laws on the Liberal side, now the Crt can use it in the opposite direction

We know what Kennedy said about Redistricting and he was a maverick before ACB that Gerrymandering districts are okay as long as make room for especially immigrants and Black and Brown voters, Manchin provision has no chance with making Computer universal in a nationwide Redistricting

Anyways, the Ds can win the Prez without red wall states but they need it to retain Congress especially the H

But, this Commission on Jan 6th and Breyer retirement may help D's in the midterms, we don't know, there is a hidden female vote out there

Its not much difference both bills are attempting to Federalize Elections and ban Gerrymandering districts that the ScOTUS already pulled by Kennedy was Constitutional

The D's have no Voter Suppression in 278 EC states but AZ and GA and all they need is MI, WI and PA  states to win the Election but in 2022 they need TX and FL to stay neutral and OH and MT in 2024 Senate seats to keep the Senate, Congress is stake not the Prez

Many of the Drop boxes that were deleted are in minority districts but you can take it, your ballot to your local Post office and Voter IDs are constitutional

ACB is the swing vote instead of Roberts, since she is the final arbitor on Roe and she will vote to overturn Roe, do you have confidence in her in upholding a ban on gerrymandering, NOT

There is a difference between being Center right and a Maverick, and don't think Rs won't sue they are already taking IL to Crt on Redistricting

This is a Beto bro plan, because without the For the People's Act, he can't run for Gov and defeat Gregg Abbott whom is up 80/20%

Even if the People's Act is accomplished D's are missing one thing urban poverty that will push the D's over the finish line 15.00, minimum wage and a ,4th Stimulus check, Raphael Warnock and Ossoff supported Stimulus checks when we donated to their campaign, they didn't say we would stop giving stimulus checks after this 1400

SSA Seniors have grown kids, they don't qualify for child tax credit, where is the fourth stimulus check

That 1400 was solely based on the Pandemic being Eradicated by July 4th and it did not

Alot of people have started going back to super spreader events, we need our ballgames but some Stadiums not all are packed to the rim, I refuse to go to a game still, it's a super spreader event

You can go to a game but many have season tickets and some are getting virus by going to the games too

We get it. You want more money
.

It would be different if Warnock and Ossoff said we are gonna give you only one more stimulus check, make sure you save it don't spend it, because you're not gonna get another one, no they campaigned and won on Stimulus checks plutel and people donated to them

That's why Warnock is such an endangered species he won by 85K Votes

2 Sinema and Manchin are leading all the negotiations on stimulus money and they along with Tester said that there are enough jobs the people don't need another stimulus, yes the people making 50k and up that they gave stimulus money last time to but 35K we need another one

3 that stimulus was based on Covid leaving, we are still in a Pandemic

This is well-written essay on the subject of voting rights:

Analysis: Biden is following a script that once doomed Black voters and made the rise of Jim Crow possible

Does anyone agree with his claim that President Biden and his fellow Democrats in Congress are following in the footsteps of their Reconstruction-era Republican predecessors when they ultimately decided that their African American supporters were expendable?

Yes and if Biden doesn’t change course and successfully pass legislation addressing this and the GOP nominee isn’t part of the Trump family, I pray to the almighty that he loses reelection in 2024 due to low African-American turnout.

Biden isn't losing Reelection, there is zero Voter Suppression in 291 EC blue wall it's assure, but Congress isn't, D's may loose the H on 2022 and the Senate in 2024 due to red maps in OH, IA, NC and FL just like we lost Strickland and Hagen in 2010 and 2014 but we can win the House or the Senate right back in 2026 the Rs that won in spite of Biden victory especially Collins in 2020 are up again

Casey, won by nine points, Stabenow by six pts, Baldwin by 10 points in 2018 secures WI, MI PA in 2024, which all three are up in 2024

Who care, if we won OH, NC and FL Senate seats, we will win Statehood, in 2022

That's why Rs keep saying it's an R yr with Bidens Approvals at 46, they know statehood is the end of the road for them

We already go onna win 52/48 Senate seats but wave insurence will get D's to the PROMISE LAND

The only way D's was gonna upset Abbott is McCounghey ran but he might as well wait for 2024 and see if Covid leaves and run against Cruz, no need to waste Capital on Abbott

I wish we had a White run for TX Gov again

One of the benefits of the Republican turnover and lack of inherent respect for incumbents is that you don’t get saddled with old people who have outdated ideas (although of course there’s always a Sinema).

It's up to Ruben Gallego if he primaries her, she won't run, if not she will run, AZ isn't am R state, it's a blue state, if Hillary wasn't tramautized by Comey even if McCain won Reelection, she would of won AZ, AZ since 2016, has been a tipping point

I think people underestimate the possibility of Sinema just not running for re-election.

SCOTUS can overturn the ban on Gerrymandering anyways when Rs file it in Crt, it won't pass muster in a 6/3 Crt
