Won't happen, the Congress is too divided for this to happen and Mcconnell is still in the Majority

The Rs will never remove Trump, CONVICTION OF IMPEACHMENT MEANS PREZ LOSES PENSION AND MCCONNELL lead Senate won't allow that to happen to Trump. That's why Nixon resigned they would invoke the 25th Amendment before convicting Trump. Besides, the Rs know that D's didn't convict Bill CLINTON

With 2 weeks left let Garland and NY deal with Trump and his two sons

They will impeach him but the D's don't have the votes in the Senate to remove him other than Romney, Murkowski, Manchin and Collins.

McConnell was there during Iran Contra and let Reagan off.

But, Trump now has a Federal Crime to be charged with Inciting a Riot when he leaves office and Garland should investigate it

The media is promoting this insurrection, let's be real here. In cases like this, when you don't have a solid case for Impeachment, you offer a censure resolution and an impeachment, going straight towards impeachment is not good and gonna make Rs stonewall, again

But, will Daines, Ernst, and Marshall vote to convict Trump. I doubt that they will end up convicted Trump but they may bar him from holding office again

Mcconnell says he is open to it

This is the rightful thing to do but as of now there aren't 17 Rs to remove him from office

If Trump knee he didn't have the votes in the Senate he would resigned already, in order to get his Govt pension. Lindsey Graham said that D's don't have the votes.

We don't know where Manchin stands on Trump never holding office again, even that verdict is hard to prosecute, but Mcconnell says he is open to CONVICTION on one of the charges.

Most likely a split verdict and Trump would be entitled to his Pension until he is Prosecuted by the Crt of Law

We shouldn't consume ourselves with impeachment, like Rand Paul said, this isn't the EC vote and it's not likely D's get the 2(3 rds vote to convict.

It's a waste of money, Trump had been censured already.

Its not happening, these are the same Rs that acquitted Reagan and Bush Sr and Ollie North on Iran Contra, there will never be a conviction of a Prez, we were on a slippery slope when Ds acquitted Clinton

They don't have the votes to convict, the D's are only gonna convict Trump to get him to lose his Govt pension.  Or embarrass Trump as R leaders, not I assume, he will get acquitted

I'm good with waiting 2 weeks. Trump's already out of office, and the evidence has been getting stronger by the day.

You really think the D's have the votes to convict Trump, Graham already said Mcconnell is out if he votes to convict

Daines, Rick Scott and Joni Ernst which are bipartisan senators already said they are acquitting Trump and Scott is Chairman of RSCC

They think that Hunter Biden is an impeachable crime against Biden by Fox news

No, they don't, and there should be an impeachment but it's a waste of resources when the IRS have trouble distributing Stimulus checks and tax refunds and every time you try to look for your money they said it's too many people

So many people haven't received stimulus checks and they are arguing over Impeachment

The people whom don't have direct deposit , that get paper checks, the IRS said they will be mailed at the end of Jan. No paper checks haven't gone out yet

My wife and I got ours within a couple days after the second stimulus bill passed.

We already knew they were gonna revert back to pre insurrection, that's why Mcconnell is blockading the organization resolution.

Grassley today, whom is a Conservative but isn't partisan, said he predicts Schumer will agree not to get rid of legislative filibuster and agree to power sharing.

But, the only two items that D's can't pass thru Reconciliation is Statehood and Immigration reform. Do we really need more Latinos in this country from PR and Mexico in Covid to clog the Med system like they are already doing

Everything else Judges, Stimulus, minimum wage can pass thru Reconciliation, and Cabinet

Schumer should ask Trump to prepare a written defense and the House to prepare a written argument for conviction. He should then distribute it to the 100 senators on a Friday, give them the weekend to look over it, and then hold the conviction vote on a Monday morning. Each senator can decide for him or herself whether to prepare or not, but that way they get the vote, they get the evidence out there, but they don't spend valuable time debating it.

I agree, we are in a Pandemic, no use to waste time on this trial

The D's have to convince Daines, Ernst, and Rick Scott to get 17 votes and they didn't have them from the beginning anyways.

Just like the power sharing agreement, the D's aren't gonna last much longer holding the Senate in limbo and Rs control Committee chairs anyways. If they don't go nuke soon, Schumer is gonna get rolled

Leahy is a Watergate baby, he was elected in the 1974 Watergate landslide.

Will Leahy run for reelection in 2022? I hope he's not thinking about becoming another Robert C. Byrd.

Robert C Byrd is in a Wheel chair. Look at James Inhofe, he is 86 yrs old, Leahy won't retire

The vote was 55/45, that is the final vote count for CONVICTION, the D's don't have Ernst, Daines, or Rick Scott to move forward on CONVICTION which was already known.

Waste of money, we should be in Covid

They D's have an excellent criminal case against Trump but not Impeachment

KKK like QAnom have existed since the beginning

Wrong.

It's not a waste of money.

Democrats will get to use the impeachment to bash Republicans for years to come.

After all, Democrats now have indisputable evidence that Republicans don't believe in laws or democracy.

The Republican Party has now become the party of right-wing terrorists.

It is a waste of money, not everyone received their Stimulus checks of 1200 or 600 and tax refunds from last yr have been delayed

Just because YOU OR A NEIGHBOR GOT THEIR 600 DOESN'T MEAN ANYTHING

IT COST MONEY TO RUN IMPEACHMENT
