Biden right now is out of the picture for the most part and that means the H2H are peoples first thoughts on Biden (Obama's working class Joe VP) versus Trump.

Its the old cliche about a referendum versus a choice and as long as Biden is out of the limelight, it is a pure referendum. Trump is going to, limited by the virus of course, try to nuke Biden on trade, immigration, courts and mental alertness (rich isn't it).

Biden is cutting into Trump's base in several swing states right now. He has more natural support than Hillary does with these voters and he connects better with them. As I said after the Super Tuesday results, Biden was expected to do well only where Hillary did, but they forgot that Biden is Irish while Hillary came off as a WASP.

Trump has flatlined in MI due to fact that the NAFTA and free trade agreement with China is a poison pill right now. Due to fact that coronavirus comes from China and China and Korea, despite our friendship have threatened us with this pandemic and nuclear weapons. Trump will lose the election. He was critical of Hilary on trade and he reneged on his promise improve trade relations

Trump has improved his standing, but among females and minorities, he is nowhere near as popular among white females as he was in 2016, as females have lost their teaching jobs and cant visit their terminal sick parents or husbands in hospitals. That's why a wave can still materialize. Among conservative white males, he is at 95 percent

I think the bump shows that Trump wasnt getting blamed for the Recession initially, but now, just like 2008, its a delayed reaction and just like Bush W trade policies with China, Trump trade policies with China has deteriorated and lead us to this reaction. This poll is confirming that more and more voters are blaming Trump now
