The Congressional Black Caucus is at war with DNC and Perez over superdelegates. That's why Martha Fudge, a Congressional Black woman has emerged as the challenger to Pelosi.

Pelosi gave Dubya the store when Tarp passed in 2008, which progressives like Feingold, CBC were against. Which disrupted the passage of Comprehensive immigration reform.

Dems don't need to compromise withe GOP. They must oppose Trump

Fudge should be challenging Hoyer not Pelosi. If 20 Dems vote no, Pelosi still wins, because those members will vote present and 198 GOPers vote for McCarthy

Martha Fudge should run for Whip, not Speaker

They should of galvanized behind someone other than Martha Fudge, who doesn't have the senority to be Speaker, Tim Ryan or someone else.   Speaker Pelosi sold the Dems out on TARP, but she represents California, the largest congressional delegation.

Any Dem, think that Dems will get raising of Social Security cap, immigration reform and minimum wage out of Trump, is fooling themselves. Once 2020, rolls around, Pelosi reforms will happen, under progressive president. That's why Pelosi isn't going anywhere, and she knows that

Leadership is all about seniority and Fudge should replace Clyburn or Hoyer, instead of Pelosi. 1977, Democratic reforms took party control away from committees and into the Speaker. Pelosi, doesn't have that much time left in Congress, but will be Speaker, as long as Dems hold majority. That will be past 2022, given the Senate map in 2020 and 2022

What does the senate map have to do with the house in 2020 lol

All the House seats up are in 25 seats Clinton won

Dems overperformed in the House, which secured Pelosi as Speaker, if they only secured 25-29 seats, her leadership would be in doubt

Dems were a little caught off guard, due to fact, they were doing well in House races, but losing MO and IN Senate races. So, the tone was tempted down, unlike in 2006, where Pelosi gave a full blown victory speech. She knows how to give one. But, she will make up for it, when she is officially Speaker

Tim Ryan is trying to solidify his spot on the ticket in 2020, that's why he didn't run for Leadership. But, we won't know until Finalists. Heinrich would make a great Veep, too

Pelosi is a SF liberal, just like Feinstein, Los Angeles is more liberal than SF. But, progressive legislation won't come with Trump, on with a progressive president
