The Senate probably be 50R*49D and MS will determine power sharing agreement like in 2000, and Schumer can negotiate on judges. Kavanaugh wouldn't have stood a chance under this scenario.

MS can elect a Democratic Senator in 2018 and a GOP Governor in 2019, this doesn't boost GOP turnout.

Dems do better in red states Congressional districts than Gubernatorial elections and House proves it. Espy, will buck trend and Beshear and JBE will win next year's Gubernatorial contests

Emboldens Dems in 2019, to vote for Hood over Reeves. Espy lost the momentum of the Democratic wave, but, I think had Abrams went to a run off, she could have won.
