Theoretically, I'm not opposed to assisted suicide for entirely untreatable conditions that effectively prohibit any quality of life. I can also see how this is a slippery slope for mental health conditions, but my understanding is that at least in the reported cases of people receiving referrals for extreme depression (usually alongside some other condition), whatever treatment they received during the 90-day "waiting period" ultimately deterred them from seeking suicide and they resumed other treatment. I only hope that under our overstressed healthcare system, this remains the case and people won't just end up slipping through the cracks, and taking their lives with a doctor's approval instead of just on their own like before.
