Barnette would be the best of the three candidates IMO for Republicans.

In a GE? Absolutely not. Maybe in 2020 before she was outed as a far-right extremist, but she literally participated in the insurrection and not only said the 2020 vote was rigged, but refused to concede in her own race when she lost by... 20%.
Oz isn't popular with the base and is totally unproven, McCormick is a trust fund baby who supported Biden until recently. How are MAGA Republicans going to be excited for that?

Republicans really dropped the ball with candidate recruitment on this one. If they win, it will be because of the national environment and Fetterman's own weaknesses as a candidate.

You really are out here defending every single thing that every GOP member does. Must be exhausting.
No more than you defend every single thing the Democrats do.

Going to be fun looking back at this thread after Oz wins and all the Democrats mocking him in this thread have to eat their words.

He very well may win, infact I think he’s favoured; but I guarantee him and Mastriano will have relatively embarrassing performances given what’s happening nationally. On the House level, most Biden + 0-3 seat seems like a sure fire GOP flip/hold
Oh I agree he's not a good candidate, but this thread has devolved into flat-out one-sided partisan mockery that's just incredibly stupid.

It's ridiculous how immature the Fetterman campaign is, it looks like it's being run by a bunch of high school dropouts

and yet it's effective. one of the biggest liabilities for Oz is that he's out of touch (and not from PA). Fetterman seizing on both of those things is genius.
Effective on Twitter. Not effective in reality.

OUCH....yeh I'm about ready to stick a fork in Oz. He is so clearly in over his head and his negatives aren't going to improve with Fetterman owning him like this constantly
And yet people call me delusional when I say this forum (especially threads like this one) is infested with blue wave 2022 hacks...

Vote for the #populist Purple heart working class everyday man John Fetterman.

Real talk - Fetterman needs to blast ads like this. Brutal.

So Oz should be ashamed of the fact that he worked hard and became rich, unlike Fetterman who was born with a silver spoon in his mouth and lived with his parents in his 30's?

Usually having net negative positives among your own party is considered and losing by up to 10% in the polls in a R-wave year is considered 'concerning'
The same polls that had Biden up 13 in Florida right?

No, Oz Derangement Syndrome (which, c'mon now, the "derangement syndrome" bit stopped being clever many election cycles ago) would be taking Oz's perfectly valid message and twisting it into something sinister.

The problem is that Oz's campaign doesn't really have a message other than "I'm a Republican, I'm working for you."  He's not really conveying how he would be good for Pennsylvania and there's lots of things working against him to that effect.

Fetterman isn't anywhere near a lock and with this social media blitz -- hoo boy, he's gonna have egg on his face if he loses in November.  Frankly, I think some of his antics have been a little bit...well, not my style, but anyway.

In any case, you're not an idiot, Politician.  Oz is not a good candidate.  I still have him winning, but there's nothing that indicates he was the best that the GOP had to offer.
The problem I have with this thread is how it's been beaten into the ground. We get it, of course Oz is a horrible candidate, now can we move on and not just circlejerk about when Fetterman owns him on Twitter?
