Texas senate is Safe D tbh. Texas is rapidly trending blue and Cornyn is a notoriously Weak Incumbent TM who would obviously lose even in a neutral year. Cornyn would be lucky to even carry Brazoria county at this rate.

Is it just me or is Democratic recruitment in the Senate terrible so far? We still don't have a candidate in Iowa or Maine, North Carolina looks iffy, Castro, Abrams and Bullock are out. I know it's only May, but still. It also seems Republican recruitment is pretty poor, Sununu is out in NH and they don't have anyone for MI or MN.

Cornyn is undefeated in overall elections since 1984: Primary, Runoff & General elections.

And Nelson was undefeated from 1972 to... you know what happened.
Not true. Nelson lost the 1990 Democratic primary for governor.
