If there is one silver lining to all of this, maybe the country will finally be rid of Bibi and Likud. I guess the question would be how his successor, when he is finally gone, could salvage this situation. I don't envy them.

Hamas killed babies and Israel is blowing up babies in retaliation, everything sucks and I’m depressed. At the end of the day Palestine has a right to be a nation and how Israel treats them is abhorrent but anyone with a soul left can’t in good faith defend or justify what Hamas has done

I must say that I'm very pleased I did not ever comment on the "hospital bombing" because it seems like every person who did just ended up looking like a fool.

And as far as the media's negligence in that goes...yikes.

Same, I stayed out of it until we knew the details, but I was very skeptical of Hamas' story nonetheless.

All that's been literally destroyed (other than Gaza and the lives of its residents) is Israel's reputation.

If there is a deal, and all hostages are released, the priority should be rebuilding Gaza. Keep security around the border if necessary, but this needs to end.

That's not exactly what I meant, more so that there are extremists who will exploit and cultivate it whether they're Hamas or not. And vice-versa on the Israeli side wanting complete dominance of Palestine.
