Prehistoric mammals are nowhere near as marketable or exciting as dinosaurs. Anyway the 'Jurassic Park' franchise never caught lightning in a bottle again after the first one, and something like this would fail just as much, perhaps even more.

Instead watch Adult Swim's 'Primal.' It's an animated action/fantasy/horror television show made by Genndy Tartakovsky about a neanderthal and a T-Rex teaming up to survive after tragedy befalls them both, all done with no dialogue. It'll scratch the itch of this proposed idea. It's an excellent show.
