It depends who's around, I guess. If a black person overhears and has a problem with it I can't say that their reaction would be unjustified if it's negative.
If I'm around it will be a problem though, and not for the word itself being sung, it's because people singing out loud to a song is major pet peeve of mine. I don't care how catchy a song is, it pisses me off for some reason. What is the purpose? Keep the singing to the singers.
