Like most Ocasio-Cortez controversies this is hardly a big deal in the grand scheme of things.

However, I do kind of get this one. If she did buy the ticket to gala it does come across as very blatantly hypocritical. If someone bought it for her, or invited her, or whatever, it's a pretty effective place to troll with this statement on her part.

I haven't checked. How many pages did the other day's breaking Milley story have on here in comparison?

I guess it's a damning testament to what people care about in this country. We're talking about Ocasio-Cortez's dress and Nicki Minaj's tweets still while we've already moved on from the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs taking it upon himself to prevent the sitting President from causing a military conflict to stay in power just last January.
