I see this ad all the time and ponder why, in these polarized times, anyone would want to own figurines of major politicians where they are bound to despise at least half of them.
I assume in that case, you would always have your opponent play with the side you despise most, thereby gaining some quantum of solace whenever you defeat the figurines of the party you oppose every time you win.
I've seen this ad a lot, too, but I'd never buy the set because it's pretty dorky and I hate chess.
I guess, but then what happens if your opponent wins?
