It is what it is.

Both sides knew the game before the election.

Interestingly, if the 2008 Democratic primaries and caucuses had the same rules as the Republicans, Clinton would have arguably won those.

Clinton always gets so close, but no cigar on Presidential runs ha ha.

Republicans will never ever win the Popular Vote again in this Country - Period.

Uh.. no...

Even with Clinton winning the popular vote this year, the Republicans won the popular house of representatives vote!

Also with no electoral college, the campaign would have been different. Trump could have won the popular vote in a popular vote campaign. But who knows though.

I think this argument had more merit in Bush/Gore. 2.8 million votes is a lot to make up. Granted, we'll never know for sure.

True, but Trump probably wouldn't have been as hard line on illegal immigration, and probably would have campaigned some on the coasts.

But who knows.

I agree that Bush v Gore, in a popular vote campaign, Bush could have well won that.
