DAMN.

Biden can ignore the rest of the field all he wants but he's going to be taking broadsides from Warren and Sanders, probably also at some point from Booker and Harris.

Wouldn't be too surprised if Gillibrand's candidacy takes off a little for her to go after Biden for how he invaded women's space too.

On many economic issues, Donald Trump was further to the left than Hillary Clinton. That's just a fact.
Not sure if being protectionist is necessarily left wing. It's just being wrong.

The Bernie Bros TM will say anything to ruin Warren

Yes, because every single Sanders supporter absolutely despises Warren.

The vast majority of his supporters would be pretty happy with Warren. But keep painting us with the same brush; it worked out well three years ago.
He didn’t say Sanders supporters. He said Bernie Bros and they are absolutely grilling Warren simply for not being their God.

It's still an extremely reductionist term that whitewashes his supporter base and erases Bernie's female supporters (and supporters of color).

Talk about the cultists all you want (I don't like Sarandon either), but the moment people start dismissing our voices that aren't white or male, it starts treading dangerously close to racism.

What? They weren'tt accusing Bernie supporters of trashing Warren. They were accusing a certain subset of Sander supporters of trashing Warren.

Fmr. PA Gov Ed Rendell: "I like Elizabeth Warren. Too bad she’s a hypocrite."

https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/i-like-elizabeth-warren-too-bad-shes-a-hypocrite/2019/09/11/409d5ed0-d4d3-11e9-86ac-0f250cc91758_story.html

OUCH!

Biden was always going to win Pennsylvania's primary, but Rendell's support just bolts it down.

Does anyone care that much about what an Ex-Governor think?

I feel like Warren is really hard to attack from a democratic point of view, with the exception of her opposition to private insurances and trying to paint her as too extreme for the general. I have a hard time seeing Biden trying to call her a socialist, when the exact same attack has been used against the person thanks to whom he is the frontrunner right now.

So is that Burkman press conference actually happening?

Yeah she's a dominatrix who whipped a Marine 22 times before having intercourse.

So happy Dominatrix are finally getting much needed representation in politics. Every little dominatrix who sees Warren win the presidency will be able to tell themselves ''If she can be president, so can I.''.

Not a good idea. A sad fact of running a national campaign in the US is that if you have someone like Gillum on the ticket with Warren at the top is that you write off WCW voters, and I know i'll get called racist for saying that, but it's true. Those are the voters who'll swing Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania and if you shun them, you lose thise three states and the election.

I know Atlas Dems love to call WCW voters racists, and that more than a few are in favour of shunning them (i could argue that some want Democrats to ignore them completely) but those three states did vote for Obama twice.

Then, if those fabled WCW voters aren't racist and sexist, why putting a woman and a black man at the top of the ticket would necessarly mean that you write them off?

Gore was far stronger on environmental and foreign policy issues than Clinton, which made him a solid choice.
LOL at you thinking voters really considered the politics of the VP choices before casting their vote. Nobody cares if he is moderate, liberal, or otherwise. People vote off of emotion, identity, and their tribe. Gillum is an intelligent black man, with a beautiful young family, and powerful speaking skills. That's all that will matter at the end of the day. It's obvious Warren wants to lean in on ginning up excitement among AAs. She is plenty populist herself for the "WWC"

I agree. However, my only doubts regarding Gillum is the ethics investigation that could very well turn into another ''but her emails'' if he was tapped as VP.

I would be a lot more willing to back and be comfortable with a Warren/Abrams ticket.

I agree. I think she brings all the advantages Gillum brings, without the burden of an ethics investigation.
