Lisa Murkowski Washington GOTV

The Murkowski Campaign pours its efforts into winning the Washington primary, believing Lisa’s message of low taxes, energy security, and lack of government intervention will resonate with voters across the state. Representative Cathy McMorris Rodgers will barnstorm her district on behalf of the candidate, working to turn out rural voters, moderates, and voters on reservations, who make up a key part of the coalition. On Election Day, McMorris Rodgers will spend her day canvassing and phone banking in Spokane, targeting moderate and conservative leaning voters. Representative Jaime Herrera Beutler will also campaign across her district, focusing on suburban and rural voters alongside the many swing voters in the district. On Election Day, she will cast her vote and then work to energize supporters in Vancouver to get them to the polls. Finally, Lisa Murkowski herself worked to GOTV in Seattle, rallying college educated voters and moderates throughout her time in the city. She held events across the city on Election Day, meeting with volunteers, canvassing, and phone banking to get her supporters to the polls.

Lisa Murkowski Runs Ad "Consensus" in WI, IN, WV, DC, and NJ

"This primary has been a debate of ideas, and we've seen each candidate give their vision for America. I'm proud of the incredible competition between friends that has been the Republican primary."

"While the Democrats race to the far left, it's time for Republicans to come to a consensus and rally around Lisa Murkowski. From Iowa, to Pennsylvania, South Carolina, and Utah, Lisa has won a diverse slate of states and united moderates, conservatives, and everyone in between."

"As President, she will keep taxes low and innovation high, protect our second amendment, and keep the government out of the way. Lisa is a maverick, an independent thinker, and completely solution driven, and that's what this country needs."

"She's faced tough odds before, and always perseveres in spite of naysayers. Now, we must prove those naysayers wrong once again and win this primary, then carry the momentum straight to the White House."

Lisa Murkowski GOTV Efforts

West Virginia

West Virginia has long been a pillar of support for Murkowski, with Shelley Moore Capito building a ground game since her endorsement. Senator Capito will spend her time reaching out to voters that have given her support in her Senate run, and have supported her in her current one. On Election Day, she will spend her time in Charleston, rallying voters on Murkowski's positions on low taxes, energy independence, and support of the second amendment, as well as phone banking and canvassing on the Senator's behalf. She will be joined by Representative Denver Riggleman, who will focus his efforts in Morgantown, rallying young supporters of Lisa Murkowski and libertarian leaning voters.

New Jersey

New Jersey is considered an important state for Lisa Murkowski, and one where the campaign will heavily invest in. The campaign believes that the state's moderate GOP, its numerous suburban voters, and the work of both Murkowski and the campaign's surrogates appearances will be what brings Murkowski to victory here. Representatives Chris Smith and Tom MacArthur will both head turnout operations here, with each primarily focusing on the area covered within their congressional districts, but with both venturing out to rally supporters throughout the state. Chris Smith will target white working class voters, while Tom MacArthur will mostly target suburban and moderate voters. On Election Day, MacArthur will GOTV in Toms River, phone banking and canvassing across the city, whereas Smith will focus on Hamilton Township. Finally, the two will be joined by Senator Pat Toomey from neighboring Pennsylvania, focusing on rallying voters in the region bordering his own state, especially the Northern portion of the state. On Election Day, he will be in Trenton, canvassing for Murkowski and meeting with volunteers in the city.

Wisconsin

On Election Day, Lisa Murkowski will be campaigning in Wisconsin, focusing GOTV efforts in Green Bay. She will focus on moderate voters who have been sympathetic to her message so far. She is joined by Scott Walker, who will be in Milwaukee on Election Day, driving up turnout in the city he served in, highlighting Murkowski's independent record, work on energy security, and support of veterans. Representative Sean Duffy will also barnstorm his district, working to build support in the rural portion of the state, and will be in Wausau on Election Day, working to turn out working class voters who have supported his own elections in the past. Former Senator Mark Kirk will cross over into the state to hold events in Kenosha, and will meet with suburban voters and hold rallies there for Murkowski, working to drive up suburban turnout for her. Governor Kim Reynolds will cross over from Iowa, barnstorming the southwestern portion of the state, also speaking at a Republican Women's event in Madison. She will primarily work to turnout rural, suburban, and female supporters of Murkowski. Finally, Representative Jim Hagedorn will cross over into Wisconsin, and will spend his time primarily in La Crosse, rallying voters there and building support among volunteers.

Indiana

While not viewed as a must win state, the Murkowski campaign will still invest in turnout in Indiana. Senator Rob Portman will cross over from Ohio to barnstorm up and down the border of the two states, spending Election Day in Fort Wayne. Senator Portman will highlight Murkowski's support of the second amendment and focus on low taxes with both moderate and conservative voters in Fort Wayne on Election Day. Jenean Hampton will campaign in the state, focusing on the Louisville suburbs and Evansville. The Lt Governor will focus on both moderate and conservative voters in the area.

Lisa Murkowski Re-Airs Ad in IN, WV, WI, NJ, and DC

Lisa Murkowski Runs Ad “Mavericks” in Iowa, New Hampshire, South Carolina, Texas, and North Dakota

“Over the past year, since announcing my run for President, I keep hearing about how I’m a maverick. How I don’t bend to the will of special interests and blaze my own trail based on values, not partisanship. But, I want to tell you who the real mavericks are.”

“They’re the teachers, who feed the young minds of our nation and allow us to remain innovative and nimble.”

“They’re the servicemembers, who have sacrificed so much to keep us safe.”

“They’re the first responders, putting their lives at risk to save ours.”

“And they’re the families living paycheck to paycheck, just trying to put food on the table and live their lives without government intrusion.”

“At the end of the day, that’s what this is all about, our everyday mavericks who just want solutions, not more of the same.”

“I’m Lisa Murkowski and I approve this message.”

Paul Ryan Speaks for Murkowski at the RNC

(Doing this early with GM approval)

“8 years ago, in Tampa, I accepted the Republican nomination for Vice President of the United States. While there, many of my fellow conservatives expressed concern about then candidate Mitt Romney. I heard about how he wasn’t conservative enough, how he didn’t do enough for the base, and how, even with a conservative from the Midwest on the ticket, we were doomed for failure. 8 years later, I’m here as the Vice President of the United States! At this very convention, there’s a candidate who has been similarly counted out, but has beaten expectations at every turn, and that’s Senator Lisa Murkowski!

Senator Murkowski is exactly what we want this party to represent; a small government conservative who will fight for our second amendment rights, lower taxes, and reduce intrusive government regulation. She is an expert at forming coalitions and consensus, and has an actual record of results in Washington, rather than just lip service. Right now, that’s exactly what this party, and this country, needs.

Lisa Murkowski has built her coalition on conservatives like myself, moderates like Susan Collins, and everyone in between. She is the candidate best positioned to unite this party after a long, hard fought race to the nomination. We’ve seen that the Democrats have raced to the left at their convention, nominating a ticket endorsed by socialist groups. The fact is, we Americans don’t want socialism, we want solutions. Let’s seize this opportunity to show the people which parry represents middle America, true working class values, and a liberty focused message by nominating Lisa Murkowski!”

Mia Love Speaks for Murkowski at the RNC

“In my time in politics, I’ve noticed something unfortunate. I’ve seen minority voters seceded to Democrats, who offer no real solutions to communities like mine. This year, I noticed something different. I saw a candidate enter into communities that Republicans haven’t won in 30 years, I saw her value these communities as people not just votes, and I saw her prioritize issues that impact the lives of minorities with the same passion as she has for rural communities like her own.

This candidate is Lisa Murkowski, and her outreach is about more than just the identity politics the Democrats have tried to wield as a weapon. It’s about serving the people, it’s about building a lasting coalition, and it’s about ensuring the American Dream for all Americans, regardless of one’s race, religion, gender, or place of birth. That’s what Lisa Murkowski has run this campaign on.

We, Republicans, need to embrace our status as a big tent party, and build bridges to communities that feel let down by both parties. We have an opportunity to not only win the White House, expend our majorities, and elect the first woman president, and the first Alaskan president of the United States!”

Murkowski Campaign Announces Surprise Keynote Speaker

“I stand before you today, not to announce a withdrawal, but to announce the next Vice President of the United States, Justin Amash!”

“I entered this race to go all the way, and we came so close to the prize. I’m so grateful that the party, and Lisa Murkowski, recognizes the hard work of our campaign staff, volunteers, and the immense support from across the country. I believe I have a natural successor in this race, someone else who values liberty, the second amendment, and a balanced budget, and I’m now happy to announce that I’ll be sharing a ticket with her!

Lisa hasn’t just talked the talk, she’s walked the walk. I believe together, we will combat the extremism that the democrats have espoused, and we will win the White House! Lisa is the candidate with the widest appeal, winning in red, blue, and purple states, winning in suburbs, rural and urban areas. She will take this strategy into the general election, and it is absolutely a winning strategy. Let’s rally behind our next president of the United States, Lisa Murkowski!”

Lisa Murkowski Speaks At RNC

“I want to thank everyone who has fought so hard over the past year. I want you to know your fight has not been in vain. We reminded the country that there is a contingent of independent minded women who make up a large part of the Republican Party. We won states across this country, built a strong coalition, and united many wings of the party together under a successful message. I may not be the nominee, but we have arrived at a consensus around a strong, thoughtful candidate in Phil Scott!

I order him my full endorsement, and will work as hard to get him elected as I worked for this nomination. I will not be going away, I’ll be an active participant in bettering our democracy, working to continue to offer solutions, and maintain a close relationship with eventual President Scott to pass our agenda! I believe Phil Scott is by far the better choice for President, and I ask all of my supporters to give him the exact same energy you gave to my campaign. Let’s work together to make Phil Scott the President of the United States!”
