Suppose in 1989, Al Gore decides not to go to the Baltimore Orioles' game and Al Gore III isn't injured at all. In December 1991, Al Gore announces his candidacy for the 1992 Democratic Nomination. Gore starts neck-and-neck with Bill Clinton in the polls, until Clinton pulls out due to a sex scandal involving Gennifer Flowers. From then on Gore manages to wrap up the Nomination.

For Vice President, Senator Gore selects Senator Bob Graham of Florida.

Like in RL, Ross Perot still decides to run as an independent for the Presidency, and George H.W. Bush wins the GOP Nomination despite being challenged by Pat Buchanan. Bush keeps Vice President Quayle on the ticket.

How would this election turn out? Discuss with maps.
