He wouldn't accept the nomination, after all, he loathed the Presidency. Not to mention, he wouldn't have made a difference to the campaign if he were somehow nominated. He was not only political irrelevant by 1932 but was a hapless campaigner, remember 1912? So, with that logic, Smith wins.

Also: please, for the love of God, stop. At least cut it down even further.
