The weirdest thing I've ever seen in politics is a Presidential general election decided by a margin of 537 votes in one state.

The second weirdest thing I've ever seen in politics is a celebrity who had been an off-and-on joke candidate for 28 years, and had his hypothetical future presidency used as a punchline for decades, actually winning the White House.

The third weirdest thing would be a popular / electoral vote split happening TWICE in less than 20 years.

If I went back in time to 1999 and told you all three of those would happen, you'd call me insane.
I agree with this, except I was born 9 days before the start of 2000 so if you told me any of this in 1999 I'd be preoccupied either being a fetus or being a maximum of 9 days old Tongue
