The midterms are going to be my first (general) election as an American voter. Here is what I expect to put on my ballot this November. Forumites abroad can pick a location in America and pretend they're voting there, and Americans not of age can play along too.

State Treasurer: Michael Fitzgerald (D, inc.)
State Auditor: Rob Sand (D, inc.)
Attorney General: Tom Miller (D, inc.)
IA Senate, 31: Bill Dotzler (D, inc.)
IA House, 61/62: Not leaking which half of Waterloo I live in, but I'm voting for a Democrat

County
Black Hawk Board of Supervisors: Tavis Hall and Glen Keith
BH County Treasurer: Myself (anti-Republican protest write-in)
BH County Recorder: Sandie Smith
BH County Attorney: Brian Williams
Soil & Water District Commissioners & County Agricultural Extension are going to be a bunch of meme write-ins for people I know

Judge Retention & Ballot Question
Matthew McDermott for Supreme Court: No
Dana Oxley for Supreme Court: No
Paul Ahlers for Court of Appeals: No
Gina Badding for Court of Appeals: No
Melissa A. Anderson-Seeber for District Judge: Yes

Blank.  I'm sitting this out because I don't have the time to switch my driver's license and don't have a gun permit.

And I'm not invested an iota regarding California.

Did your driver's license only expire recently? Because, at least according to this government website, Texas allows you to vote if it's only been expired for less than four years. Don't quote me on this, though. Tongue

Updated the OP post with a more detailed description of my ballot, specifically county offices, which are gonna be straight Democrat anyways, and for district judges, which I plan on voting for all except for Richard D. Stochl, who apparently doesn't have a good track record according to scoring from the Iowa Bar.
