2. No jurisdiction in Lincoln may any law prohibiting the legal consumption of alcohol in public places except while operating machinery which may be dangerous to operate under the influence.
As someone who has a pet peeve of vague and weirdly-written wording, I don't like this. "Public place" can be a loose term. Depending on how you define it, no jurisdiction in your region will be allowed to prohibit Lincolnites from consuming alcohol in public libraries, government buildings, hospitals, and parks. I don't have a degree in legal interpretation, so don't take my words as gospel, but I'd consider either rewording or scrapping this section. It's a legal nightmare waiting to happen.
