I lost my grandfather to lung cancer 7 years ago - it was slow, and painful. I am sorry that Limbaugh had to suffer that, and I am sorry that cancer remains such a scourge on our society. I am sorry for his wife, and his friends.
I will note however, that my grandfather was made comfortable, and guided through his disease, by doctors who worked in a universal healthcare system (that Limbaugh
hated) that added at least a year to his life, and prevented his widow from bankruptcy.
I am regretful that Limbaugh had to suffer. But I wish his condition had given him the chance to reflect on his boorish approach to healthcare, and the suffering of his less economically fortunate listeners.
