Is there a more recent state-by-state POTUS approval poll that includes all 50 states? Seems the last one was done in October.

There's also the fact that he is a corrupt, idiotic pig who is completely unfit for office and never should've been nominated let alone elected. He's also a farter.

Approve 32 (-8)
Disapprove 56 (+7)

Record (by far) low approval and high disapproval for this poll.

Generic Congressional ballot: 51 D, 36 R

Good lord.

Everyone thought Mondale was joking when he's saying "GOP is finished!"...

It's going to be worse for them than they think. I love when Trumptards point out the GOP's lopsided control of the state legislatures, and governorships as proof the Democrats can't come back. If they'd bother to study political patterns, they'd know that lopsided control of state legislatures always preceds a realignment and paradigm shift. Look at the Democrats lopsided control before the civil war, or the Republicans lopsided control before FDR, or the Democrats lopsided control before Reagan was elected in 1980 (GOP had only 2 triumvirate state governments after Watergate). Couple that with the ascending Millennial generation and that makes it even worse for them. Nobody is safe in 2018 and beyond and candidates that once might have seemed like longshots are totally plausible. The best part is the utter self delusion Trump, the GOP, and their idiot supporters are engaging in. It's only going to make 2018/2020 that much sweeter.

Trump's presidency is doomed to be a failed disjunctive presidency the way Carter and Hoover's were. He's basically the last bulwark on a rapidly failing and fading governing philosophy that has almost become repulsive to everyone. Everything about Trump's presidency is like a cheap throwback to the Reganism of the 80s. Good riddance

I hope you are right.

I'm glad folks in Iowa are coming to their senses, but honestly, what made Iowans into Trump supporters to begin with? It's strange that the state that launched Obama's political career went for the birther candidate eight years later. And what exactly do they not like about the Trump presidency? He's governing exactly as he campaigned..

I think they were more Anti-Hillary than anything, and I can see why. She did little to appeal to them directly.

Iowans definitely don't like Hillary, but it is disgusting to think that they preferred Trump given how un-Iowan he is. Old wounds I suppose, but 2016 has been a hard demon to exorcise.

Gallup, 12/15

Approve 34 (-1)
Disapprove 61 (+1)

It seems like it is the tax bill machinations that are bringing him down, similar to the Obamacare repeal debate and very unlike the drip drip drip of the Russia investigations. The tax debate and the Obamacare repeal effort expose Trump as a sham populist. If the GOP's next target is the social safety net, Trump's approval is going to fall below 30%.

I hate so much about this picture. The smug expression. The slow clap. The obviously bullsiht numbers.

Thats our president, ladies and gents. A complete liar and charlatan. Corrupt and consequence free, still.

Gonna be hilarious in 2019 when Trump is celebrating a 30% approval rating from Rasmussen on Twitter.

Couldn't resist.

Gallup 12/30

Approve: 40% (+2)
Disapprove: 55% (-1)

Trump's highest approval in Gallup since 9/23.

It really is depressing that people out there don't care more about our Constitution and principles being stomped over every day. Or Trump profiteering on the presidency, and so on. Its sick.

Thank god. You all need to get a life and take a Xanax. Nobody sane gives a f**k whether Trump's approval was -3 or +2 on a particular day, which by the way IS MOSTLY STATISTICAL NOISE ANYWAY.

Agreed. So when does the weekly poll average get released?!

Interested to see how his approvals fare after all of these Russiagate shoes dropping, the border wall getting scrapped, and the falllout with Bannon over that stupid book.

Be careful about rooting for the shutdown. It's not a good thing to shutdown the Government of America over the concerns of foreigners who are inconsequential to American life.

One of the ways that thousands of Americans have qualified as DREAMers is that they have successfully served in the military, so you might want to be cautious about how you pass judgment on people there, Mike.

I just have reached the breaking point, Brit.

Please don't do anything stupid or dangerous, Mike.

It is a simple fix, and I don't understand why Democrats won't do it.

Seal the borders, build the wall, put a 10-year halt on all immigration into the United States. Just ten years. Let us focus on US.

I seriously cannot wait for the day when Democrats get to 270 without Ohio.

http://www.270towin.com/maps/BR8nb

50% plus - safe R
49%-45% - likely R
44%-43% - lean R
42%-39% - lean D
38%-33% - likely D (probably should just be safe D but its purdier this way)
Blue heart% - safe D

Looks like there could be a realignment going on in the Midwest and Southwest.
