I was under the impression it would be midnight like everything else

How, when results are supposed to be out tonight? Anyways, your last few posts count. Did you have any more planned/written up? I wouldn't want to hurt you disproportionately, but I need to know before I compute results because I intended to do it early in the evening.

I mean considering everyone was caught off guard by this announcement (Personally I had to speedwrite an additional event in 15 minutes, and I was planning to do at least a few more events tonight) I don't think anyone was harmed disproportionately here.

I was going to do some events tonight as was Ninja, so idk if Peanut wants to like, extend it so everyone has a bit more of a chance? It'd be a bit odd but so was that announcement being so close

It would be unfair to go back on this directive. Labor was also planning events tonight and we would have spent this interim period writing them, rather then pausing due to the campaign pause. While more advance notice would have been appreciated it is not fair to revert back now.

In the end it's up to him I suppose

agreed on all those points. I was lucky I got into a groove with writing and was able to churn out as many events as I did in an hour.

It's impossible to really say what governments did, so everyone just kinda makes things up. I have a feeling that if this was real that the DA and Labor probably would have come to an agreement and stopped those schools from shutting down, etc.

Buddy, I play the game within the bounds set by the GM, and judging by the results thus far, I play it well. And I most certainly don't b*tch and moan at the GM when things don't go my way.

As one of the most active folks in the NPC elections I can tell you that I feel a lot of the same way. Yes, even in states where we’re likely to win, it feels less like fun and more like something I’m just doing because I feel an obligation to. I highly doubt that this is what Lumine had in mind when he created this, and he can respond as such if that is true.

Yes. I really am very, very sorry for the delay. PA campaigning closes at midnight Eastern. Results will be out soon after. Polling and events coming today as well or I'm eating a sock.

So here's this month's map (assuming we're still going with them, but we're pushing towards the end of the month and that leaves us only two weeks of campaign time and updates and polls):

With nearly half the month over, I think we should just take a break. But that will also require the regions to pass new legislation delaying all their elections this cycle.

The VI isn't up this month.

Also I'd be good with pushing back this month as well. We started quite late and so far no one has campaigned yet. Seems like people are pretty burned out.

Mr. GM,

For the cycle that was slated to take place this August, and will hopefully resume in September with prior events graded and accounted for, the Labor Party and the Democratic Alliance have agreed to endorse each other for second preference in all executive elections.
