The second Democratic debate is on CNN tonight at 7 PM. This one is two hours long, so hopefully there will be plenty to talk about it. Feel free to use this thread to discuss it. The Republicans will have their third debate Tuesday night.

So far, Biden has taken over the debate.

Hmm...not if he is running for the Democratic nomination.

Gravel had a good comment.  "Yeah, it's Bush's war, but it's the democrats war too." (paraphrased)

Yeah Kucinich used a similar line too and actually went after Clinton specifically.

I will admit, the first series of questions have been a lot better than the fluff stuff MSNBC was tossing up.  Blitzer is putting them on the spot.

Yeah pretty good stuff so far.

I think Obama has been doing quite well but he needs to go after Clinton specifically more often. That is the person he is trying to overthrow in the polls.

Edwards isn't doing too great so far (IMO).

That's what I was thinking. Terrible camera movements. FOX and MSNBC were down pat.

At least there are some good questions on here though...and good lighting (Fox I'm looking in your direction).

Edwards has done too much kissing up on Obama tonight.

Haha I was thinking the same thing. Is he really running for VP...again? I doubt it but it is kind of strange. They are almost developing a Bush-Blair type relationship on stage.

Bill is the Dems Ronnie.  They have to have someone to reflect back to to energize the base.  Unfortunately, having Killary on the state cheapens the question.  If she wasn't running, the question would have a tad bit more relevence.

The question is basically free publicity for her campaign.

I might be a little biased, but I think Obama has been excellent.

Edwards and Clinton are getting the most camera time.

I agree. I think Obama has been very strong so far but I'm sure MSM will explain to me how Hillary won the debate afterward.
