As someone who almost never posts (but who has been lurking for 4 years),the most shocking development so far is that atlas hasn't crashed yet. Seems like that was the one thing long time posters could agree on here.

Ironically, after the fuss about the sunbelt strategy,I think Biden will win the old way. He will lose GA, FL and TX but will win PA, WI

So this is a bit random but Alaska had a huge batch of votes dropped and Trump seems to maintain a 30% lead there. Things can still change obviously as there's 44% of the vote left to count but that seems like a massive swing to Trump from 2016. Seems like his minority overperformance extends to inuits/alaska natives.

I feel like PA is getting unfairly dragged here (the memes are funny tho). 96%* of all ballots have been counted which is similar to other 'swing' states (MN at 96%, TX and FL at 97%), better than others (like Ohio at 90%, Iowa at 92%, NV at 93%) and far better than the vast majority of safe blue states (MD at just 70%, CA at 77%,NJ at 78%, NY at 84% etc.) so the election officials have actually done a good enough job at counting the votes. It's just really frustrating because of how close it is and the fact that networks are reluctant to call it.

*Percentages are from the nyt map

edit: well, cnn just called it lol
