Apparently Vienna gets 10 Mio. € now just for entering the group stage.

This is about their annual budget.

Ipsos has done a poll on German football players/coaches:

On the right side is the name recognition, on the left side the favorable ratings.

Dortmund

One of the big 3: Bayern, Barcelona or Real

And an Italian one: maybe Napoli or Milan ?

Teams by country:

The UK has actually 5 teams, but in football Scotland is a "country" on its own.

You can't have us as an opponent since we're in the same Pot, Tender.  Wink

Thx. Good to know ...

So, then just switch Napoli with either Milan or Juve.

Meh, not one of the big names for Vienna.

But maybe they have a chance for 3rd in that group (lose against A. Madrid and Porto, win against St. Petersburg).

Realistic scenarios of the Vienna games:

vs. Porto: 0-2 (home game), 0-3 (away game)
vs. Atletico: 0-1 (home game), 1-2 (away game)
vs. Zenit: 1-1 (home game), 1-2 (away game)

Otherwise, Stuttgart has just managed to concede a completely unnecessary goal in OT,  drawing 2:2 with Zagreb, so they did not make it to the EL group stage

Rijeka, not Zagreb ... Wink

Vienna was playing Zagreb.

Fenerbahce has been banned now !

Salzburg (they lost to Fener in the CL quali), is now going to sue the UEFA - because they ruled so late that the qualis are already over.

Now Salzburg has to play in the EL, when in fact they could have got an easier opponent and advanced to the playoffs (where they would have likely lost against Arsenal anyway - but that's a different story).

Prediction for the UEFA Supercup today:

2-1 Bayern/Chelsea

1-1 after the regular time, Bayern wins in overtime.

Goal by Robben or Mandzukic.

David Alaba scored 1 great free-kick goal yesterday and 1 great assist for Robben, who then scored.

Smiley

The Vienna vs. Porto game is relatively boring, but Vienna is doing much better than I thought (30 minutes over and still no goal by Porto ... Tongue).

I'm watching Napoli vs. Dortmund though, because that's in HD as well and much more interesting.

No. Sad Fox Soccer Channel was recently axed (big matches - so basically just Barça, Bayern, Real Madrid and ManU - are on the new FS1) and the Soccer bars here are too busy showing Celtic-Milan. I don't even think the big downtown German place has Dortmund on via satellite.

Try here:

http://megatv.to/zdf-hd

It's in HD.

...

Stuff keeps getting worse and worse for Dortmund: Now their keeper got the Red Card.

Nice 4-0 win for Red Bull Salzburg against some Swedish team.

Rapid Vienna lost 1-0 in Thun (Switzerland) though.
