What do you think ?

The consensus is that same-day registration increases turnout in those states that have it.

Would be good I guess for the National Popular Vote margin for the Democratic candidate.

I voted yes.

On the other hand, some states that have SDR like Wyoming have not really high turnout either, because they are not seen by the voters as competetive.

This might keep CA's turnout low despite having the SDR in place by 2016.

I am moving to California. Should I try same day registration out? Smiley

I wouldn't do it, because SDR puts a big burden on those old poll workers, who actually should do something else on election day than register voters. If most people would do that, then there would probably be long lines and delays at the polls, especially if the 2016 election is the first one in which this new system is used ...
