I hope he enters the race.  If he does my support will shift from Biden to him

Haha, well he'll have it in the bag if he wins over all the Biden-ites!

But seriously I also wish he would enter the race, as he seems to the left of Clinton.

It is up to Gore if this is relevant, so we can't be sure of its relevance at the moment.

A Clinton/Obama ticket wins in November 2008 and Al Gore becomes Secretary of State ...

Only if the Department of State is merged with the EPA, I guess...

I could see Bill Clinton as Secretary of State.

I'm pretty sure that violates an anti-nepotism law passed when RFK was named AG.

Maybe Rudi Gulianai will name him in a reach-across the aisle.

Do candidates normally name their SoS?

No I meant  after he won the presidency.  Hahaha.

The most interesting aspect of this thread is the Gore-hatred exhibited by the right-wingers.  He does get under their skin somehow.  I just read an interesting editorial about this by good old Paul Krugman.

He's practically the only real liberal in the media, and he's a fighter.  I liked the way he ended that article:

Which brings us to the biggest reason the right hates Mr. Gore: in his case the smear campaign has failed. He’s taken everything they could throw at him, and emerged more respected, and more credible, than ever. And it drives them crazy.
