I disapprove of him ideologically and politically, however his 'performance' has been reasonably good for his constitutents - the owners. He instituted massive redistribution to them both in the 'tax cuts' of his early years, and the Iraq 'war' subsidies they received.
The only downside is he has done a lot of damage to their primary tool, the Republican Party. However this is not a big deal as they have the other one - the Democratic Party - to use for a while.
