I always save all my coins for the day and toss them in the jug.  Never use change, ever.   When the jug gets very heavy it has about $350 in it.

I like to use my coins to make exact change for everything.

Haha, cute.  But here I almost never go through a check out line or see a cash register, and the coins are a little more rational.



In practice no one uses satang, the smallest one in common use is the one baht coin - about 3 cents.
