You know just the other day some drunken Russian started hassling me in a short-time hotel lobby.  I was just handing around waiting for a girl, and he came in with his choice.. needed change, and started waving the largish note in my face, poking me on the shoulder.  He asked where I was from, said 'America cheap! I from Soviet Union - STRONG!'.  He was like a better muscled Borat.  I got up and high-tailed it.. hope I didn't let down my country.

I don't think I've ever called anyone a 'muffin'. It seems like an odd sort of word to use as an insult. Is it common, in your part of the world, to use the names of baked goods as insults?

its a reference to your old fruit act, dearie.
