While feeblepizza was just a stupid little, immature troll, fully deserving a ban, jmfcst is (reportedly) a middle-aged, vile fanatic and hate-baiter. He deserved ban much more than all prepubescent paultards.

What the hell?  I don't like his views, but what kind of political forum bans views?  Particularly those shared by a very significant minority in American politics (the religious voter/evangelical/whatever you want to call them).

Let me say that while I dislike the man's views I enjoy greatly his presence on the forum, and I enjoy debating with him.  You banning-freaks should ban yourselves.

Thanks, that's cool, but its probably dangerous to agree with people like jmfcst and I.

That said, his own constant harassment of afleitch is pretty much indefensible and goes back years and years, and if he can't learn to play nicely, well...

afleitch and others have given as good as they got from the preachy-man, and if they can't hack it they shouldn't enter a forum of debate.  If you expect a political forum to include both gay rights activists and religious fundamentalists, you have to expect a certain amount of friction.  I'd say given the divergence of their views those two have managed to communicate rather well.

If you think it is worth it to ban a useful, intelligent, interesting, and opinionated poster just because of a few vehement disputes, well then the forum is as hopeless as I thought.  jmfcst is a pillar of the forum.

Losing?  Consider that some of your most vehement supporters, myself included, do consider you 'horrible'.  I would change my vote if I could, however, given your situation of being under attack by the little hitlers.

No offense meant.  You just do seem to bring that stuff up rather incessantly.  You've nothing to worry about in the shower unless you're slim, asian, and a reasonable facsimile of a woman.. and from what we hear of you, it seems unlikely you are any of those things.
