No because he does not have a primary challenge (or a general election challenge either) at this point, and the filing deadline has passed.

So he will be running unopposed in both the primary and the general, therefore securing re-election anyways.

There is no way SPM seat would flip in 2018. It could have flipped if it were open in 2014 or 2016, but not 2018.
