Do we guess who's voting Republican and who's voting Democrat, or just one of them? Maybe the blue states are states where the largest minority is African-American, and the red states are those who have a larger Asian (or maybe Hispanic) minority.

This map is confusing. Hmm... I don't think it's race or religion, or income or age, so what's left? Gender? Maybe it's the male vote? Or maybe it is race, but the White vote?
