Internal poll by the Fareed campaign for CA-24 shows Carbajal only 1 point ahead of Fareed at 47%-46%.

My classmate who interns for the Fareed Campaign was like "muh NECK AND NECK" in first period today. The unfortunate fact is that, outside Atlas, it's hard to rebut that without sounding like a pretentious asshole

The white voters in the district, meanwhile, in Fullerton, Brea, and Yorba Linda tend to include more Trumpian tea-party types than you might find in CA45 or CA49.

Fullerton is actually rather Dem heavy. It's denser, closer to LA, and has college students. The entire landscape changes east of the 57 in Yorba Linda, where you do get those Trumpian types. I think that's an important distinction to make. These places have different dynamics, and its a turnout game to see who cancels out who.
