Can't wait for this forum's #analysis of the Montana results.
"More Republicans than Democrats voted in Montana, an elastic swing state. Blue wave DEAD!"

Hey, at least democrats have already picked up 17 house seats. Shame about Joe Donnelly losing, though. And shame that Cordray / Abrams couldn't quite win.

I don't think we'll see any R-R or D-D races outside of the PVI+20 districts. Voters are at least somewhat strategic.
Maybe CA-48, but the other two should be fine.

That’s the one I’m slightly concerned about

Looks like the DCCC agrees

I think it'd be better for them to drop money on Rouda.... why are they attacking Baugh? They could just increase name recognition for him and make Republicans vote for Baugh to spite dems.

I just got back from voting. I voted for Brian Goldberg in the NJ Senate primary and Seth Grossman in the NJ-2 House primary.

...Why? Why would you vote for Brian Goldberg over Bob Hugin? Hugin is actually a fairly good (but somewhat flawed) recruit.

So Glasson D'Alessandro and now even Heenan are losing? This country is doomed if they don't start electing real progressives(and despite what some red avatars say here, progressives and justice dems are electable, you just don't want to admit it! Especially in a year like this, when a ham sandwich would probably win against a republican!)

Ok dude... you guys have your chance with that girl in NE-02. And the dems getting nominated tend to be more to the left of the usual dems.

Also, Beto got nominated.

Looks like Newsom brought in some illegals from Mexico to vote for him and only him in the CA primaries

Looks like they've only added about 3k votes... if there's actually 55k (now 52k) votes left to count, this is going to take forever.

This is incredible, there were only 500K less votes cast in this primary than there was in the 2014 general election:

Can't wait to see how Fox continues to try and spin this.

What is there to spin? Republicans didn't do that bad in these primaries, as they only lost 1 congressional district so far if you go by the combined D vs combined R vote. Of course, there's still late-mail ins waiting to be counted, and the general is more favorable to dems than the primary, but it's not like these primaries are a disaster for republicans. It's more neutral than anything.

Keirstead picked up a net 6 votes today and now leads Rouda by 335:

* DANA ROHRABACHER (REP)   49,654   30.5%
HANS KEIRSTEAD (DEM)   28,373   17.4%
HARLEY ROUDA (DEM)   28,038   17.2%
SCOTT BAUGH (REP)   26,011   16.0%

Rohrabacher's percentage has been creeping downward.  I wouldn't be surprised to see him end up below 30%.

I don't think there's many more votes to count...

This, actually to me, is why this district isn't that big of a deal.  I'd be surprised (and disappointed) if Rohrabacher was reelected (I like to think there are a lot of Republicans who are at  least anti Putin)  and, while I appreciate that every seat counts, I think  it will be difficult for the Democrats to hold this seat in 2020, yet alone 2022.

In 2020 Trump will (probably?) be on the ballot again. In 2022 it won't be the same seat because of redistricting, but yes it will be harder to hold then if there is a D President.

Actually you give me a good reason to not support Rohrabacher.  He is too pro Putin.

But then the main reason I support Trump is that in action he is the most anti Russian President since Reagan.  Obama in action was the most pro.  I do not care what they say.  I care how they act.  If Trump had carried on Obama’s actual Russian policies I would become anti Trump.

Trump refused to sign bipartisan Russian sanctions that got over 400 votes in Congress.

Feels like I'm the only person rooting for Cuomo and Ocasio-Cortez.

I am too
