NORMALLY I’d say a vacated seat is a good thing as it makes it easier for Dems to contest - but the prospect of Jim Jordan as Senator is.... disgusting

Always liked Ryan.

But he will be lucky to get into the 40’s

Ohio is useless - unless we’re talking college football - in which case O-H!

It’s a shame this wasn’t in a Dem friendly year. This would be a Dem pickup.

I always liked Ryan even when people were calling him stale and bland. Not to mention Vance is a POS

Ohio State always play well in reg season and when it gets time for playoffs they stink and they haven't won a title since 2015 with Ezekiel Elliott

Utah and Ohio Senate can be the upset of EDay, D's winning 54 SEATS

God you set the record for ridiculous things.

Ohio State had an unreal team in 2019 and frankly got screwed in 2019 by a targeting call against a top corner and a horrific non fumble call and then the WR breaking off the route in the red zone.

Then in 2020 they beat a heavily favored Clemson team before succumbing to a loaded Bama team.

And you’re obviously wrong about Ohio and UTAH?! come on LOL trolling much?

The amount of people in this thread actually convincing themselves Ryan is going to win is mind numbing. These are polarizing times where swing voters are rare and everyone just supports their tribe - blue tribe or red tribe. This is no different at all.

In a D+0.5 to R+4 year there is no way a Democrat is going to
come that close nevermind win in a state that is R+2 to R+9

Yeah if this was a Trump midterm I think Ryan would win this.

Alas it isn’t and he won’t. Ryan might keep it respectable (between 3-6)

AGAIN, Tim Ryan CHOKING, can't & struggles to defend his 100 % Record voting with Pelosi.

Choking would imply that he’s blowing something there for the taking.

It’s not there for the taking. In a blue wave yes. Any other time in this polarized society? No chance in Ohio

Even though this is Ohio, and polling maybe inaccurate, I think this will still be a close race with Tim Ryan having a good chance to pull it out.

I’d rather have a 51-49 R Senate with Ryan then a 50-50 without Ryan. I think he has potential to have a lock on that Senate seat if he wins it. Appealing to conservatives by playing ball with R’s like Manchin but not so much so it irritates the Dems. However the problem is actually getting into the seat.

I can see a Ryan win having a Peltola effect. However he won’t get in
