Bumping this cause the primary is tonight, and all other MD discussion is in the Federal arena. Scott leads in the most recent polls from April.

Local Republicans have been pumping Dixon on Social media cause it's E-Day, which may have screwed things up right at the finish line.

Dixon currently leads Scott the incumbent 46-42 off Mail and Early in person.

She won Mail 45.4% to 39.8%, but lost Early In person 46.2% to Scott's 47%. Given that in person and then Eday is going to get more and more African American, the direction of travel favors the incumbent.

Edit: Scott takes the lead as E-Day trickles in.

AP/DDHQ/Local sites all called this as Scott crossed 51%.

Again tonight we see that the lower-income African American vote, who mostly shows up on E-Day, is solidly with the Democratic parties "preferred" choice of candidates.
