I think a lot of people are starting to think Northam really isn't in that photo. But I don't know why he initially confessed to being in it.

I also don't get why, of all the photos available to you, you would choose that one to put on your yearbook page. Heck, even if they're just friends of him, it's a terrible lapse of judgement.

According to his account, he did not have a choice in the matter.
