1972: I would have been very likely/safe to back him over McGovern
1968: Humphrey and Nixon are both not bad on policy imo but I prefer Nixon as a person. Nixon vote. However, if LBJ was re-nominated: definite LBJ vote.
1960: Nixon without hindsight because I would have no way of knowing that Kennedy's election would lead to a man I approve of so much (LBJ) getting into the White House, albeit through tragic means.
