According to OpenSecrets, Kennedy has a smaller percentage of his financial contributions from small-dollar donors, which suggests that he might be more vulnerable to corporate donor influence than Markey is (and even Markey's small-dollar donor percentage is rather low). This means that Kennedy is (at least on the surface) not a more progressive alternative to Markey.

This is further proof that he was a standard establishment Democrat masquerading as a progressive back in 2018.
