Kind of a tabloid story, but this might set an interesting precedent. Essentially, Johansson's pay for
Black Widow was based on a percentage of box office receipts, but Disney also released the movie on their streaming service, which diminished ticket sales. Apparently Emma Stone is also considering suing Disney, as they did the same thing with the movie
Cruella.
I couldn't care less about what these people get paid for starring in horrible cinematic trash, but it's always good to see Disney get held accountable. It'll be interesting to see how the courts handle this new era of film distribution.
